San Francisco Atheists January meeting
In early honor of the upcoming International Darwin Day, please join us for a photographic tour of the Galapagos Islands. Visited by Charles Darwin in 1835, the Galapagos are home to unique species that helped inspire Darwin’s theory of evolution. Boobies, marine iguanas, giant tortoises, and many other colorful endemic species populate the rugged volcanic landscapes. SFA volunteer Susan Fink will share photos from her May 2015 Galapagos expedition– eight days of trekking, snorkeling, kayaking, and swimming amidst an abundance of amazing wildlife.
