We’re excited to announce our first library event in nearly 3 years! Please join us for a Darwin Day Party as we celebrate the life and work of Charles Darwin (b. February 12, 1801), who published his theory of evolution by natural selection in On the Origin of Species in 1859.
International Darwin Day is now celebrated around the world, by state and local governments, by the United Nations and its members, with a mission to inspire people throughout the globe to reflect and act on the principles of intellectual bravery, perpetual curiosity, scientific thinking, and hunger for truth as embodied by Charles Darwin.
We’ll play some Darwin/evolution trivia/games (with prizes), with refreshments and a Darwin Day CAKE. Bring your favorite beverage.
