Our February meeting always entails a celebration of Darwin Day. This year we will be in the capable hands of historical dramatist R.J. Lindsey who through extensive research, meticulous attention to detail and the use of documented speeches, letters and anecdotes, brings forth a vivid living impersonation. A theatrical professional, Lindsey has appeared on television in “She Stood Alone,” “Fatal Judgment” and “Will.” Stage roles were in “Harvey,” “Measure for Measure,” “A Thousand Clowns,” and “The Crucible.” Lindsey earned a Masters degree from Illinois State University and is a member of Actor’s Equity, the Screen Actor’s Guild, and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists. The meeting will be preceded with a potluck, always a winner with HWSC.
