“Understanding Warfare: An Evolutionary Approach,” Michael L. Wilson, Associate Professor, Department of Anthropology and Department of Ecology, Evolution and Behavior, University of Minnesota. Join us at our February chapter meeting to recognize and honor the legacy of Charles Darwin. Our guest speaker Michael Wilson is an Evolutionary Anthropologist who studies the behavior and ecology of primates to gain insights into the evolution of human behavior. He will discuss how an evolutionary perspective on warfare can help shed light on why people fight and what they can do to make war less likely to occur. Stay for a buffet lunch for further discussion with Prof. Wilson and fellow humanists.
