The PhD students Association in Pavia (ADP), Italy is proud to annouce the second Darwin Day held in Pavia. It will be exactly on 12th February 2019, in Aula Foscolo, at the central building of University of Pavia.
We will have the opportunity to discuss several implications of Charles Darwin research. From genetics, to geology up to anthropology. We will be guided in this journey by Dr. Francesco Grossi, geologists, Dr. Angela Molinari, anthropologist and Prof. Dr. Antonio Torroni, geneticist and Professor at the Department of Biology and Biotechnology of University of Pavia.
“Our idea – the local PhD student association says – is to give to the entire city, not only the academic community, the possibility to understand the various aspect of Charles Darwin work, even the less known”. This event has been kindly supported by Commissione Permanente Studenti of University of Pavia within the program for the support of cultural activities organized by students.
