As Bill Norsworthy reminds us:
“Dear Humanist Friends,
“Darwin Day 2018 in the Tampa Bay area is less than a week away! This year’s program will be very enlightening and inspiring. With Professor Phil Zuckerman coming across the country from California to present a keynote address titled, “The Happiest Place on Earth? Social Progress, Contentment, and Well-Being in Secular Scandinavia,” this Darwin Day will be one to remember. Also on the program will be Jennifer Hancock, who has written extensively and will talk about Happy Humanist Families, and Ryan Cragun, sociologist from the University of Tampa, who is well known to the local secular community.
“The doors of the Octagon will open at 9:30 a.m. next Saturday, February 3rd. The program begins at 10:00 in the Octagon at UUC, 2470 Nursery Road, Clearwater, FL. Tickets are $20.00 and may be purchased through this link to Brown Paper Tickets http://bit.ly/2DkEhP1, or at the door on Saturday.”
