For the first installment, join the Idaho Museum of Natural History’s Leif Tapanila, PhD., for “Buzzsaw Sharks – Catching the Biggest Fish in the Permian Sea.”

Giant buzz saw sharks lived along the American West Coast over 250 million years ago, leaving behind their mysterious spiral-shaped fossils. Come hear a fisherman’s fascinating tale about scientific research and the unfolding mystery of these ancient fish.
