The Atlanta Science Tavern is pleased to host their Third Annual Darwin Day Dinner, Sunday, February 15 at Ashiana Indian Restaurant in the Global Mall in Norcross.
This year’s theme continues the Darwin Day Dinner tradition of “evolutionary biology, then and now,” offering a look at evolutionary biology both from a historical perspective and from the perspective of contemporary research.
The evening’s program is a two-speaker mini-symposium, gathering at 5:30 pm. It will feature evolutionary biologists Will Ratcliff, an Assistant Professor in Georgia Tech’s School of Biology, and Jaap de Roode, an Associate Professor in the Department of Biology at Emory University.
A $25 buffet dinner featuring authentic Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisine will be served. The price includes soft drinks, tax, gratuity, and service charges for use of the banquet room. Bar drinks can be ordered separately.
