DESCRIPTION:The University of Texas at Tyler and Tyler Junior College are pleased to announce the 2024 Darwin Day celebration for Tyler\, Texas! Events will be held February 10th – 16th\, 2024. Similar events are held worldwide on the birthday of evolutionary biologist Charles Darwin\, and seek to recognize the benefits of scientific exploration and discovery. This year’s Darwin Day celebration features two different public science lectures and a book signing by the speaker\, evolutionary themed video screenings\, and interactive booths with fossils and live animals.
