UnIntelligent Design: Why Evolution Explains the Human Body and 'Intelligent Design' Does Not
A richly entertaining evolutionist's view of the human body.
Prof. Abby Hafer argues that the human body, though no less beautiful or marvelous for being flawed, has many faulty design features that would never have been the choice of an intelligent creator. Citing design flaws from the partial blockage of the eye's retina to the vulnerable external positioning of men's testes, she illustrates her points in an easy to understand, scientifically sound presentation.
Prof. Hafer teaches Anatomy & Physiology at Curry College in Milton, Mass, holds a B.A. in biology from Swarthmore College, and a D.Phil. in zoology from Oxford University in England.
