First Unitarian Church of Lynchburg
When Americans selectively reject science, it handicaps us as a nation in a knowledge-based economy. Therefore, we need to be open when scientific discoveries tell us our actions have condequences, raise doubts about the fuure, and require us to change. If we do not understand how science works and do not accept and welcome its predictions, we can destroy our country’s future or even threaten humankind’s existence on this Earth.
This event will be held in the U-House Parlor at 818 Court Street.
Free and open to the public.
